Our Lessons
We know and love swimming! Our swim school, progressive curriculum and passionate instructors create the perfect environment for people of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals! Whether it be learning the basics of water safety to Olympic hopefuls, we can help!
Private lessons
For those seeking a more personalized experience that caters to the specific abilities and needs of the individual, our private lessons are an excellent choice. Younger swimmers who take private lessons are usually able to play independently sooner and almost all children who take private lessons will advance through their skills faster. We also recommend a 1:1 instructor to swimmer ratio to adults with little or no swimming skills and for parents of younger swimmers who prefer not to enter the water with their child during the lesson.
The private lesson is a monthly plan with the flexibility of picking your instructor and day/time. With this purchase, you have the flexibility of being able to schedule on different days/times of the week and cancelling up to 24 hours without fee. In addition, we also offer video analysis in these private lessons for the competitive swimmer. This is priced slightly higher than our standard private lesson for the video work. We also have elite coaches (our Olympian owner Chris Chalmers for instance) as a higher price that also includes the video analysis.
Private lessons give the kids one-on-one instruction to focus on the skills at the pace of the child.
Private lessons allow the parent to choose the instructor that best fits their swimmer’s needs
Skills are taught at the pace of the child. Some kids may need to spend more time learning a skill and some may master the skill very quickly
Private lessons may be scheduled any time or day depending on the instructor availability
Group lessons
From a swimmer's first time underwater to their first time on the block, the different skill level of our Group Lessons offer something for everyone. We believe in maintaining an instructor to swimmer ratio of 1:4 or smaller to reduce swimmer stress and help increase skill retention. The group lesson is a monthly plan for 1 visit/week (4/month) with enrollment in the same class day/time for that week. There is no make-up for missed classes with the monthly plan.
Group lessons are a great way to get kids in the water with other kids of the same skill level.
Group Lessons are 4 students to one instructor
All lesson skills are taught at the same speed for all the kids. Some kids excel and some kids need more time
We try to give the same amount of time on each skill with each kid
Group lessons are scheduled at the same time and day of the week for the entire session
Sometimes an instructor will recommend a few private lessons if they feel it would benefit the swimmer
